What Comes Next
You call, you tell us what the door is doing (or not doing), and we get a truck out to you. Most of what we see on a call is tied to the age of the house. Ballwin's housing stock runs from 1947 up through 2011, with the median build year sitting around 1969, which means a lot of original hardware is still in service - torsion springs that have never been replaced, openers from a different decade than the house next door's.
We work from 930 Kehrs Mill Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011, and we cover the area out to the towns nearby: Ellisville and Manchester are both about 2 miles off, Clarkson Valley is 3, Valley Park 4, and we go as far as Kirkwood, Fenton, and Creve Coeur at 7 miles. If your door is stuck, bent, or making a noise it didn't used to make, that's the call to make, not a project to put off until it fails on a cold morning.
Who Turns Up
We don't carry a title or a plaque to hand you, and we're not going to invent one
What shows up is someone who's going to look at the spring, the track, the cables, and the opener, and tell you straight what's wrong and what it costs to fix. If the fix isn't worth it compared to replacement, we'll say that too.
Given how much of the local stock dates to the 1960s and 70s across the fifty or so named areas in this part of St. Louis County
A lot of the work is matching hardware that doesn't match anything sold today - side-mounted torsion setups, older track widths, panels that were never meant to be swapped one at a time. That's not glamorous work, but it's the work that actually gets done here.
Contacting Us
Call (636) 204-2554. That's the number, and it's the fastest way to get someone looking at your door instead of a form sitting in a queue. We're at 930 Kehrs Mill Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011, which puts us close to Ellisville, Manchester, and Clarkson Valley, and within a short run of Valley Park, Town and Country, and Des Peres.
When you call, have the basics ready: what the door is doing, roughly how old the house is, and whether it's a single or double door. It saves time on both ends and helps us bring the right parts the first time instead of a second trip.
What We Actually Do
We fix broken torsion and extension springs, replace worn cables and rollers, repair bent track, and troubleshoot or replace openers. We also handle full door replacement when a repair doesn't make sense anymore - which happens more often on houses built before the 1970s, where the door itself is original and the hardware around it has been patched more than once.
What we don't do is cosmetic work unrelated to the door's operation - we're not painting your garage or framing it out. And winter matters here: this is a cold-climate area, and a spring that's been fine all summer can snap on the first hard freeze because the metal's already fatigued. If your opener has been straining or your door's been slow to close as temperatures drop, that's worth a call before it leaves you stuck.
